The Global AI Week is focused on developing Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) for work-AI solutions and connecting with fast-growing AI experts.

The Global AI Week AI Hackathon is an event open to anyone interested in AI/LLM, aiming to create innovative AI solutions and discover new values that can transform the business ecosystem.

The top 15 teams will be invited to the Global AI Week Final Hackathon on Jeju Island, with support for trip expenses covered.

'AGI for Work': Utilize AI tech to address business challenges while enhancing efficiency and productivity.

The AI Hackathon theme is 'AGI for Work', which refers to using  AI technology to solve critical business problems, increasing efficiency and productivity. The event includes networking with global tech leaders and offers the opportunity to propose AI solutions that encourage 'Making AI beneficial.’

Additionally, participants finding difficulties using AI/LLMs can anticipate educational workshops and technical support. For example, CEO Sung Kim is hosting a fine-tuning LLM Workshop, and tutorials for AI development using API are available as well. Individuals struggling with AI developmental services can successfully solve their troubles by conducting and challenging various experiments.

Hackathon Participation Guidelines

  • Details of the Hackathon will be sent to participants through email and Discord. Please ensure to check them.

  • For this Hackathon, participants must utilize the Upstage API and will be provided with $200 credits.

  • Submissions to the Hackathon must be the participant’s work, and at the time of the final submission, participants must provide a project presentation, a demo video, and a link to the code. (Detailed information will be provided to participants at a later date.)

  • Team composition can range from a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 4 members.

  • Participants in the Hackathon must agree to the Upstage operational regulations.

FAQ

    • AI startups, professionals, freelance developers, and anyone interested in AI are welcome to join.

    • There is no registration fee.

    • The operations team will approve and confirm your participation. You will receive a confirmation email.

    • Your submission must be functional enough for the judges to review.

    • Each member must complete an individual application and include the team name on their form. If you wish to add members to your team, you can autonomously organize team building through the community platform (Discord) after all participants have applied.

    • The operation of the hackathon and the submission of materials will be conducted in English.

    • However, it is also recommended to utilize language data from each country for data usage.
